Licensed & Verifiable
California BSIS Private Patrol Operator license #121577 — publicly verifiable through the state database.

Sunset Safety Agency is the Orange County private patrol operator that property managers, HOA boards, and institutional clients call when they want a partner — not a vendor. Licensed, insured, and operational across Orange and LA County since 2022.

Established in 2022 and headquartered in Orange, California — we built a modern patrol operation around integrity, documentation, and responsive client service.

California BSIS Private Patrol Operator license #121577 — publicly verifiable through the state database.

Patrols designed to deter problems before they escalate — with GPS-stamped visits and detailed reports.

Axon Body 4 cameras, marked patrol vehicles, and 10-8 CAD dispatch on every shift.

Officers who represent your property professionally — at HOAs, apartments, and commercial sites across OC and LA.
Sunset Safety Agency was founded in 2022 on a straightforward premise: private patrol in Southern California had become reactive, transactional, and disconnected from the operational realities of the properties it served.
Boards were paying for visits that may or may not have happened. Property managers were calling generic dispatch lines and getting generic responses. Officers were rotating through properties so quickly that nobody learned anything about the communities they patrolled.
We built Sunset Safety Agency to be the opposite of that.
Three years in, we serve HOAs from Lake Forest to Tustin, property management portfolios from JD Property Management to Sares Regis, institutional clients including Concordia University Irvine, and mobile home parks across Orange County under the KMCMH portfolio.
We're proud of what we've built, and we're still building it.

Sunset Safety Agency is founder-led — questions about operations, contracts, or escalations go to someone who knows your account.

Founder & President
Evan founded Sunset Safety Agency in 2022 to bring founder-led accountability to private patrol in Orange County — where property managers and boards could reach a decision-maker, not a call center.
He oversees operations, client relationships, and the technology stack that keeps every patrol documented — from 10-8 CAD dispatch to body cameras and client reporting.

Every Sunset Safety officer is trained to operate by three commitments — printed on the back of every business card and reinforced in every post-order document.
Property managers, board members, and institutional contacts deserve responsiveness and partnership — not a dispatch line and a monthly invoice. We pick up the phone. We follow up on incidents. We attend board meetings when asked. We learn your operation.
The communities we patrol — HOAs, MHPs, retail centers, university campuses — are made up of real people who deserve professional, de-escalating, transparent interactions. Our officers are uniformed, body-camera-equipped, and trained to resolve situations without escalation.
A patrol visit that doesn't document anything didn't really happen. Every visit ends with a report. Every incident ends with evidence. Every contract ends with a property safer than when we started.

Most operators describe themselves as proactive. For us, it is an operational standard — not marketing language.

Marked vehicles. Uniformed officers. Patrol routes designed to be seen, not hidden.
Every visit time-stamped, GPS-logged, and photographed. If an incident occurs, the evidence is already there.
Officers note conditions that lead to problems — broken lighting, malfunctioning gates, abandoned vehicles — and report them to property managers before they become incidents.
We attend board meetings, meet new property managers in person, and learn the specific dynamics of every community we serve. By the time a problem appears, we already know how you want it handled.
